Create characters with AI

Character Studio helps you design a hero for a game, a comic, a brand or social media. Describe the character in words — looks, outfit, personality — or upload references, and the AI draws several distinct variations in one run.

Pick a style: chibi, 2D cartoon, 3D render or realistic, or upload up to 5 sample images for a custom style. You can add up to 10 tagged references (a face, a costume, a pet) plus a brand name and logo if the character is a mascot.

Before generating, Claude studies your references and writes a separate prompt for each variation, so you get different takes rather than copies. The images are drawn by GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2 or Nano Banana Pro: 1 to 10 variations, in 1:1, 4:3 or 3:4, at 1K, 2K or 4K, saved to your image library.

Use it for game heroes, comic casts, brand mascots or avatars — and run it again with the same references to grow a consistent cast.

Questions and answers

Can I create a character from text only?

Yes — a description of up to 2,000 characters is enough. References are optional but help match a look or style.

Which styles are available?

Chibi, 2D cartoon, 3D render, realistic, and a custom style learned from up to 5 of your sample images.

How many variations do I get?

1 to 10 per run, 4 by default. Each one gets its own prompt, so the characters differ.

Is the character creator free?

You can open the tool and explore its settings without an account. Processing spends credits: new accounts get welcome credits after signing up and confirming their email, and after that you can buy a credit pack or subscribe. The exact cost is shown before you start.

Which AI models draw the characters?

GPT Image 2.5, Nano Banana 2 or Nano Banana Pro, with Claude analysing references and writing the prompts.
